Το ΠΓ Αγ. Αναργύρων συμμετέχει στο πρόγραμμα Amazon Web Services (AWS) GetIT

We are very excited to bring Amazon Web Services (AWS) GetIT program and competition to the Lower Secondary Model School of Agii Anargiri to help empower our students to consider STEM for their future careers while inspiring curiosity and wonder for innovation through technology. Our school is one of four schools across Greece that joined AWS GetIT’s pilot launch in March 2022.

AWS GetIT is an education program and competition for young students that supports building a more inclusive and diverse talent pipeline for the tech industry. During the program, AWS GetIT encourages young students to think about how tech can help the people in their school and community, while helping them learn to challenge gender stereotypes, and consider a career in tech. Each school participating in the program is paired with an AWS GetIT Ambassador that supports educators and mentors students as they design an ‘app for good’. Students will participate in a bootcamp to learn about tech and work on their app idea.
 
During the AWS GetIT competition, students form teams and compete for AWS GetIT’s best app idea award. Finalists will sharpen their collaboration and public speaking skills by presenting their ideas to a panel of AWS experts, customers, and partners at AWS events. Our school will nominate one app idea to the AWS GetIT competition.
